After Beckham's two month shots we had a rough couple of weeks, he was whinny and wanted to be held constantly. I got my happy go lucky guy back and about two weeks later we had the worst night of all time. I remember one night laying in bed thinking about how good Beckham had been and I thought there is no way he will ever have a rough night like we experienced with Aniston. But oh was I wrong, this night was by far worse, I think we slept a combination of an hour the whole night.
It's moments like these when I am so thankful for the priesthood in my life because after a full day with no sleep and sick fussy baby this mama was about to lose it. We gave Beckham a blessing and 30 min later he settled down and fell asleep on my mom. My mom stayed the night with me to help take shifts in case of another bad night since Travis was out of town. We were so scared to move thinking that he was going to wake up but he ended up sleeping through the night. I think that was the first time I didn't care waking up at 6 a.m because I was so grateful that had I got some consecutive sleep.
Before the "bad night" he was pretty much sleeping through the night, we are now back to getting up twice a night. But hey, I'll take waking up in the middle of the night if he is this sweet, smiley boy all day.
