{When it rains it pours}

{That is exactly how this winter has felt for me.} My family has been through a lot with 3 family members having surgery, 2 happy additions {Aniston & Brighton}, losing 2 grandmas within a month, a blessing & a baptism! As you can see with all the good that we have experienced, it has come with its amount of sadness.
Each of these experiences has given me the chance to ponder and realize that I am indeed blessed and have a Heavenly Father who is there to comfort in my time of need. I guess sometimes it takes these experiences to help you put life in perspective.

Here is our winter in pictures!!

{Aniston's Blessing Dress}
I decided I wanted to make a blessing dress for Aniston I briefly looked on the internet for dresses and didn't find anything. But I am obsessed with looking at wedding Dresses on J.Crew for some reason and one day when I was looking I found this one that I thought if turned into a blessing dress would be perfect.

{The inspiration}
this is not the exact dress I got the inspiration from but they already took it off their website so this one is really similar{The Result } up close
{Full length} It turned out perfect thanks to my mom she's amazing when it comes to this kind of stuff!

{So Worth it}

I just wanted to share a few of the pictures we have taken in the last couple of days to celebrate Aniston being one month... These are some of the emotions and actions we experience each and everyday. Everything good and bad is so worth it.

{Look at her Grow}

{Aniston Ellie Evans}

I can't believe she is already here! She is a happy and healthy baby and man I can't believe how fast she is growing! At her two week appointment she had already gained a pound!

{Proud Mom & Dad}

{Profile Pic} I can't decide who she looks like more!The most recent pictures Of Aniston... I love having a girl and dressing her up {even though Travis thinks I am torturing her with the hair bows and all}
It has been a great couple of weeks and here are some of my favorite things:

{When she smiles while sleeping}
- When she does that I can't help but think she is talking to people in Heaven{ my grandpa's & grandma, even her future brothers and sisters?} and they are wanting us to know they love us and are watching over us.

{She has been my constant sidekick}
-I know of course she's my constant companion because she's a baby and she needs me but really it has been nice because with Travis's new job she keeps me from feeling like I am all alone when he is gone on his crazy shifts!

{My mom say's the only reason why we have to bath babies is to wash off all the kisses}
That is so true this little girl is so loveable and you can't help but kiss her little cheeks that are starting to get chubby...

I'm so excited for what else is to come!

{Baby Shower}

About two weeks ago I had my baby shower and no one knows how to throw parties like the {Anthony family} & Devry! It was above and beyond. I am so lucky to have such a great family, Devry your included in that... Thanks to them and all those who came I now feel a lot more prepared. Here are a few pictures of the decorations, food, guests and presents. It was the perfect day! I again am so grateful for all those around us who give us constant Love & Support....
I got a lot of great things and i feel a lot more prepared!

{All my family and friends who came} I'm so glad to have such great friends and family!
This was the amazing {Food}. As most of you know my sister Melody teaches foods and she experiments with a lot of recipes so for the shower she made a few of her top hits like Pear and blue cheese salad, shrimp salad in phyllo cups and rumbi rice bowls! Kellie also made cake balls and birds nests which were both delicious. And for the birds nest Melody found the hard mini cadbury eggs that really you can only buy at Easter time but she was able to get some from the black market or {ebay}! I love those things... My sisters definitely know how to go the extra mile to throw a party!
The decorations around the house were so cute and added the perfect touch to the bird themed party, but one of my favorite things was this painting! And here's the story behind why, every time I go to Target I eye the painting like in the top picture{ sorry it's a bad picture} but being the cheap person I can sometimes be I would never buy it. So when I showed up to my mom's house for the shower I was so excited cause I saw the painting Well what makes it even better is that Melody actually drew and painted it herself... I am very impressed it looks just like the Target version if not better!

{A special thanks again to My mom, Kellie, Camber, Melody and Devry}

{It's Official}

By now I am sure most of you know, but I've heard in order to make it official I need to post a blog.

{Travis and I are expecting!!} We are both super excited and grateful for this chance to become parents. I am just about halfway through {Due Date December 20th} and in three weeks we get to find out what it is.

I can honestly say I've never been so excited for the {Winter and December} to come around...!

Travis and I found out when I was about 7 weeks along and since I had a previous miscarriage we wanted to wait it out a while to tell anyone. So we were able to come up with a pretty cute way to tell our families.

My inspiration came from the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 days {where she makes a scrapbook of their children.} Well i took a picture of Travis and one of me and mixed it together to make a babies face and than we had the faces printed on M&M's. Needless to say after our families figured out what was on the M&M's they were surprised and excited...

{We are so grateful to have such great families and friends to share this exciting time with.}

{Life After Friday Night Lights}

Travis and I have netflix through his xbox and on weekends we like to go through it and try and find something new to watch. About 3 weeks ago we were bored of watching movies and we wanted to get into a new TV series. We were having a hard time agreeing on which one to watch because Travis wanted Dragon Ball Z {which I guess reminds him of his childhood} and I wanted Desperate Housewives. Well obviously he wasn't going to give in to me so as we were scanning through we saw {Friday Night Lights}. We decided we would give it one episode to see if it was worth our time and here we are three weeks later!!

I feel like that for the last three weeks I have done nothing but watched this series. And while I am not watching it I am thinking about it, {while I am sitting at work all I could think about was how excited I was to get home so we could watch more episodes.}

I actually went to dinner with Trav's mom and my sister in laws last week and we saw this random guy sitting by myself and he keep looking at us{kind of creepily} , and I felt like this has just happened to me so I was thinking about where and when that would have taken place and than I realized it didn't happen to me it happened to Tyra from Friday Night Lights, so I guess that gives a little picture of how revolved my life has been around this show.

We just finished season 3 Monday night and the last couple of nights Travis and I have felt like we are missing something... I guess now it gives us time to spend outside in the good weather we've been having {That is if its stays around long enough}
