Project Life: Summer Part 1

I love this time of year
Because it's
Summer
and the
Memories
are just waiting to Happen
                                                  -unknown
I have decided this summer that instead of letting my pictures just sit in a file on my computer I would attempt to start the Project Life like I have seen everywhere online. Instead of doing the actual Project Life I found a similar template that Sherelle Christensen had made and I thought I would experiment with it and see how I liked it and if I could even handle doing this the digital way. But so far I have liked it because it has forced me to keep on learning how to use Photoshop and it is mess free. Another big perk about it is I don't have to print off pictures, I can just download the billion pictures I have taken and create a quick page. So far they are not anything to spectacular but Hey at least I'm doing something..  So with that said here is Part One: of our Summer Adventures.

{He's Here}

He's Here:
Beckham Bruce Evans
2 1/2 weeks early to be exact.
Everything about this labor was so different from when I had Aniston.

Interesting facts about my labor:

* Travis was at a golf tournament all day he got to the hospital 45 min before I delivered.
* I dilated from a 5 to 10 within 20 min.
* Total time at hospital before he arrived was about 2 1/2 hours
* I had my epidural 10 min. before delivering and it had not kicked in so I felt the whole thing. (talk about waste of an epidural!)
We were all completely in shock about how fast & unexpected everything was; but we are so glad that he is here safe & sound.

Look at that Bleach blonde hair! I couldn't believe it when the Dr put this blonde, fair skinned baby in my hands, I was expecting him to look just like Travis. But he is one handsome little guy.
More pictures to come...

2+2=4

Looks like we are evening up the numbers in our family. We found out recently that we are having a boy! We feel super blessed and excited for a boy. I am almost 19 weeks and have been feeling much better these last couple of weeks.
Although sometimes it's hard to be sick and chasing around a 14 month old 9who hates to stay in one spot for longer than 5 secs) I think having Aniston around is a good distraction from the exhaustion and nauseousness.

My goal this time around was to try to be better at documenting the process, (even though I hate taking these awkward pictures of myself and the growing belly.) So here's a few that I didn't talk myself out of taking.

{Happy H"OWL"oween}

Isn't My little Owl so cute! I haven't been this excited for Halloween since I was in middle school. {Maybe it's because after I turned 12 I felt weird dressing up for Halloween} But it was so fun looking for ideas and making this costume for Aniston. I found the hat on etsy and this super easy tutorial on how to make the wings on pinterest.

We didn't really do much for Halloween cause Aniston hasn't been feeling good so we went to the community Trunk-or-Treat and to my parents house for chili.

Like I said before Aniston's been a little sick but she has been the best sick baby if that is such a thing. She hasn't been whinny or grumpy and she has taken 3 to 4 naps a day plus going to bed at 7pm and sleeping til 8am.

The wings have a little piece of elastic that fits on her little fingers to keep the wings attached to her arms. Aniston hated the elastic being on her finger so she was constantly trying to get it off; but it conveniently looked liked she was flapping her wings. Here's a video of it.

I Love US!

For a couple years now I have been taking my families {Family Photo's} & Devry & Preston's, {but who are we kidding they are practically family to us. }But that's besides the point. I have been practicing and trying to learn more about taking photos and using photoshop for my own knowledge. I'm no {Jessica Calderwood} but I'm trying! check her blog out she's amazing...

These families mean a lot to me; And here are some of the reasons why!

walk to the mail box with us everyday
invite us over for dinner
love & play with Aniston
make us cupcakes
call and check on us almost daily
Just to name a few

But I'm so grateful to have them in my life.

So here's this years {photo shoots.}

-P.S. My sister Kellie took my family pics

{Just Beachy}

{Have I ever told you how nice it is not having to work?} And this is why! I've been able to pick up and go without having to plan a week or two in advance to get the day off. Also I haven't been outside this much since the summer I was dating Travis {which was one of my favorite summers}

Like most of you who live in Idaho we think the summer is too short, Travis & I daydream of moving to a place like California or Vegas so we can have this weather all year round.

It has been so much fun taking Aniston on all these adventures; she loves keeping busy & being outside!

Here's a few of the places we have gone

1. Rigby Lake with Trav's family
I'm obsessed with taking pictures in her swimsuits and this hat. I just Love them

{Grandma Debbie& Shelby}

2. Jensen's Grove with Camber's family
{Another swimsuit shot} This swimsuit was given to Aniston from her Aunt Whittney & Uncle Ryan who live in Texas and it is so cute{thanks again guys}... And I couldn't resist taking a picture of the fat rolls on her legs.
3.Lava Hot Springs

Here's a few random shots of what else we have been up to:

Matching T-shirts... I always love it when we randomly wear the same shirt on the same day.
Devry, Audree & I had a bachelorette finale party. {We were rooting for J.P so we wore our PJ's} and had these dessert nachos, popcorn, Chili's chips and salsa & Hot Mac!

{Happiest Place on Earth}

At the beginning of July Aniston and I went to Disneyland with my mom and Melody for FCCLA Nationals. I was so nervous to go because Aniston is not the easiest baby so I thought it might be one tough week, But I can tell you Disneyland is truly the {HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH} because she came home a changed baby!

She was at a perfect age because she was not old enough to be scared of the scenes on the rides but yet she was so intrigued.

Here's a look at our week in pics.

{Exciting Plane ride to California}{Meeting Characters}

{Day at Huntington Beach} or "Heaven on Earth"- as our taxi driver would say

Melody left a day before we flew out and went straight to be with Bryan in Virginia so this was Aniston giving her goodbye hugs.
