{It's Official}

By now I am sure most of you know, but I've heard in order to make it official I need to post a blog.

{Travis and I are expecting!!} We are both super excited and grateful for this chance to become parents. I am just about halfway through {Due Date December 20th} and in three weeks we get to find out what it is.

I can honestly say I've never been so excited for the {Winter and December} to come around...!

Travis and I found out when I was about 7 weeks along and since I had a previous miscarriage we wanted to wait it out a while to tell anyone. So we were able to come up with a pretty cute way to tell our families.

My inspiration came from the movie How to Lose a Guy in 10 days {where she makes a scrapbook of their children.} Well i took a picture of Travis and one of me and mixed it together to make a babies face and than we had the faces printed on M&M's. Needless to say after our families figured out what was on the M&M's they were surprised and excited...

{We are so grateful to have such great families and friends to share this exciting time with.}

{Life After Friday Night Lights}

Travis and I have netflix through his xbox and on weekends we like to go through it and try and find something new to watch. About 3 weeks ago we were bored of watching movies and we wanted to get into a new TV series. We were having a hard time agreeing on which one to watch because Travis wanted Dragon Ball Z {which I guess reminds him of his childhood} and I wanted Desperate Housewives. Well obviously he wasn't going to give in to me so as we were scanning through we saw {Friday Night Lights}. We decided we would give it one episode to see if it was worth our time and here we are three weeks later!!

I feel like that for the last three weeks I have done nothing but watched this series. And while I am not watching it I am thinking about it, {while I am sitting at work all I could think about was how excited I was to get home so we could watch more episodes.}

I actually went to dinner with Trav's mom and my sister in laws last week and we saw this random guy sitting by myself and he keep looking at us{kind of creepily} , and I felt like this has just happened to me so I was thinking about where and when that would have taken place and than I realized it didn't happen to me it happened to Tyra from Friday Night Lights, so I guess that gives a little picture of how revolved my life has been around this show.

We just finished season 3 Monday night and the last couple of nights Travis and I have felt like we are missing something... I guess now it gives us time to spend outside in the good weather we've been having {That is if its stays around long enough}

{A Day of Simple Pleasures}

This Friday work was a little slow, so they have what we call low census days, so it was either go in to work for two hours or take the day off. I gladly offered to just take the whole day off. {I can't tell you how excited I was.} Thursday night I stopped by the Movie gallery and prepped for my long weekend. I started the weekend off by staying up late and watching some movies. Friday I got up at 8:30 so excited to start my day off, which is funny because every day when I get up for work I just wish I could sleep in, but I have to admit a little of my mom has rubbed off on me because when it comes to days off I don't want to waste it being lazy...
So throughout the day I was able to paint part of my living room, make some vinyl lettering, clean and do laundry. I decided with my day off I needed to do something nice for Travis so I planned a date night. We started at home with a nice dinner I had made and next we went to Idaho Falls to go see {When In Rome} and than to Jamba Juice. It was a perfect way to end my day off.

Sometimes I forget how great life is and Friday help me put things back into perspective.

{Date Night Picture}
{Trav's wishful thinking that our date night would involve COD} P.S. it did not!!

{ Party Like A "Rock"star}

For Christmas Travis and I got {RockBand} with a Country music pack and it is so much fun to play. But not only is it fun to play it is very entertaining to watch; It was so much having the game over the {holidays} cause we would have family come over almost every night and we would play for hours. P.S. the very talented girl in the video is my niece Cambree {The next Hannah Montana} oh and her back up singer is My sister Melody.

{Twas 2 Weeks Before Christmas}

So this year for Christmas Travis decided that he wanted an X-Box 360, it took a while but he finally convinced me to get one for him. Well I strictly told him that when we bought it he had to wait for Christmas... that was the agreement. But as soon I picked it up from the store the pressure was on for me to let him open it and play. I was doing so good at not cracking even though he was having Preston come over daily telling me reasons of why Travis should be able to open it up early. Here are some of the reasons they came up with.

1. Because they want to play together online. {Ok my problem is this, so they've been playing together at Devry and Preston's, don't you think playing together in the same room is better than playing together online and talking to each other on headsets!}

And the 2nd reason was:

2. Because Travis has to go back to school in January and he won't have as much time to play since he will be busy with homework and work. {Yes, ok somewhat logical!}

So the last reason is a little bit of why I did Break, that and the fact that I don't know how many more times I could handle being told that I'm {cold as ice!} I'm not cold as ice I just wanted Travis to have something to be excited about because he is so Bah humbug!

Since I decided to give in I still wanted it to be exciting. So one day while he was at work I set up a treasure hunt. These pictures of each of the places and clues he had to find!

{P.S. yes they were all wrapped in princess paper, it's all because one day I came home from work and he had wrapped all my presents in Transformer paper and thought it was so cool, so I thought what is the exact opposite of Transformer thats right Princesses!}

{Livin on the Edge}

So I was a little late in jumping on the Twilight band wagon. But I finally gave in and started to read them to see what all the fuss was about and I actually ended up loving them. I than passed them on to Camber and she also became a huge fan. So it wasn't too hard to convince her to go to the midnight premiere with me and the ladies from work.

All the ladies at work are also big fans and it was almost daily that we were checking the Z103 website for new trailers and pictures of the movie. One day I came to work and they had created their own Jacob calendar. They said that the kitten that was pictured that month was creepy and ugly so they covered it up with Jacob. I'll just say I couldn't complain since I am a huge Jacob/Werewolf Fan!

Camber decided if we were going to {live on the edge} and go the {midnight premiere}we were going to go all out and that we did. We took our picture with Brad and Tara from Z103 and I couldn't believe how believeable of an Edward he was...This is us waiting the two hours in the theater for the movie to start. I was proud of Camber it was 10 P.M. and she was still going strong. It's been awhile since she has lived the late night life. I guess having kids can that to ya!
Inside our theater we had make-up artists doing claw marks for {Jacob} Fans and Glitter for {Edward} fans but since our shirts said that we couldn't choose we got both. It took us awhile to go and get it done because there was only little kids in the line and we felt dumb but we decided if we were going to go all out we had to do it.

Getting ready to stand in line! You could tell that we were {first timers} because we were not very well prepared. People around us in line were all in snowoutfits and bundle up in blankets and we had jackets! Luckily we didn't have to stand out in line for too long..
